Sr. Enterprise Solutions Account Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for the consultative selling of connectivity and managed telecommunications services to senior executives for the acquisition and management of Fortune 400 accounts. Focused on new logo acquisition and driving growth from existing logos in selling Comcast Business Class Products including Managed Router, Managed Security, Managed Wi-Fi and Professional services, Metro Ethernet and fiber services for national account clients with large bandwidth requirements. Develops a sales strategy to create effective enterprise account plans and delivers sales proposals to prospective accounts, closes business deals, and exceeds pre-determined budgeted sales objectives. Demonstrates effectiveness in leading national enterprises through evaluation and adoption of complex technology solutions in an average 9-18 months selling cycle with Fortune 400 size accounts. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in the art of the complex sale. Determines your own work priorities.

Job Description

Demonstrates strategic thinking, analysis, and insights to cultivate an account planning strategy to achieve sales goals, both with new logo acquisition and existing logos.
Advise complex enterprise organizations on different Comcast technologies and deliver strong influence/selling skills across the entire sales cycle including opportunity analysis, account discovery, proposition presentation, objective handling, and offer negotiation.
Creates, delivers, and leads face-to-face sales presentations to cross-functional C-level executives, including regular interaction with the CEO and senior leadership that sell the benefits of Comcast products and services to enterprise customers.      
Persists in the face of obstacles through collaborating with multiple cross-functional internal teams to design and implement effective business proposals.
Actively generates new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
Achieves and exceeds all individual, department and budget goals.
Serves as a subject matter expert on all Managed Router, Managed Security, Managed Wi-Fi and Professional services, Metro Ethernet and fiber services for national account clients with large bandwidth requirements [including Fortune 100 with <1000 locations]
Maintains and builds customer relationships to drive customer retention; works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels that meet and exceed customer expectations through strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up.
Offers recommendations to sales leadership on new business prospects through the review of sales records and activity reports.
Develops sales territory, including cultivation of local partnerships and organizational affiliations in the retail, health care, technology and hospitality sectors.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Requires 7-10 years of telecom & enterprise sales 
Working knowledge of salesforce.com & prospecting tools

5+ years experience in product management, ideally with responsibility for consumer facing internet safety products, such as security products, privacy products or parental control products.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions using data and customer behavior.
Customer-focused approach to product management.
Proven efficiency in influencing teams without direct authority.
Track record of identifying new opportunities in a changing market
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have
Familiarity with broadband and WiFi products.

Environmental Manager

Job Summary

Reports to the Region’s Environmental, Health and Safety Director, and responsible for developing, organizing, implementing and administering the California Region’s environmental compliance programs in accordance with federal, state and local laws and regulations and Comcast standards. Provides extensive support to the operating business units, provides training, monitors and updates key performance indicators, and provides briefings to management on critical environmental issues. Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements and workplace safety practices, and works closely with Workplace Safety Managers to implement the occupational safety, accident prevention and industrial hygiene programs.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:
-Develops needed training programs and manages the administration of environmental training, and also supports the administration of occupational safety and health training programs.
-Manages the administration of environmental compliance programs with operating site managers and supervisors and outside consultants.  Environmental programs include, but are not limited to: hazardous, universal and non-hazardous waste management, recycling, air permitting, spill prevention,  due diligence, remediation, hazardous transportation, water and wastewater compliance and sustainability.   Supports administration of workplace safety and industrial hygiene programs.
-Obtains key environmental metrics and maintains EHS databases, communicates performance results, analyzes trends, conducts root cause analyses and develops/implements compliance action plans.  Supports investigation of safety incidents and remedial actions.
-Conducts frequent environmental, health and safety inspections and audits of the operating facilities and field operations.  Documents audit findings and develops/implements compliance action plans. Conduct EHS audits of vendors and contractors.
-Responsible for obtaining environmental permits, developing and maintaining required business plans, programs and procedures and filing regulatory reports.  Acts as liaison to regulatory agencies, and is company representative during agency inspections of company facilities.
-Provide technical guidance to the business on complex environmental and safety issues.
-Manages outside EHS consultants, contractors and vendors.
-Develops, revises, interprets and administers environmental management systems, policies, procedures and training programs to meet federal/state/local regulations and business requirements, and provides similar support for safety programs.
-Provide EHS evaluations and due diligence support to Real Estate and Facilities for property acquisitions and divestitures.
-Serves as project leader for evaluation/selection/installation of environmental protection technologies and equipment to maintain or enhance compliance.
-Support development and implementation of strategic EHS goals and targets for the region.  Provides support, as needed, to other Comcast Regions in the Western Division.

 

Required Skills:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Environmental/Health/Safety Program
-Generally requires 6-10 years’ experience in Environmental/Health/Safety field
-Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and California environmental regulations and requirements, including: Prop 65, hazardous and universal waste management, AST/USTs, SPCC, Storm water, emergency generator air permitting, asbestos, refrigerant management.  Knowledge of Federal and California OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage programs in multiple departments and business units.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated project management leadership abilities.
-Ability to travel up to 50% to the operating facilities throughout Northern and Central California.  Travel out-of-state to support West Division and Corporate 5 %.
-Knowledgeable of EHS database management programs and EHS management systems.
-Professional designations a plus: PE, CHMM, REM, QEP, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, CSP
